From what I gather it was like the Star Wars special editions, the episodes are remastered using the latest technology and digital ship models are used instead of the old models.

very good idea it is. im looking forward to it. im a bigger fan of tos and tmp than the rest of star trek.

The thing that turned me off of TOS was the poor graphics. Hopefully this will be released on DVD so I can buy them and watch them. It wil bring new life to an old series.

It's been 40 years since Star Trek started so I think it is approprate that they go back and spice up the series that started it.

ever see the terran emp eps in enterprise. the const looked great in it. will love to see it in digital and diffo angles in this. m5 ep should look great

Yeah, there are times where I would love them to do a movie or series back in the TOS or TMP era using todays technology and sets. :)

After looking at the image of this remastered TOS, all I can say is....:Y :Y :Y

TOS is getting a major facelift. The Constitution class seen in Enterprise "In a mirror darkly" (alternate universe 2 part episode) is replacing the original model. The phasers seen in TOS are updated... Everything is updated except the actors! This is going to be worth watching. An awesome job! :excited: :excited: :excited:

I have seen a few episodes myself and I must admit that I am quite impressed with the remastered version.
