So there are two concepts for the Dilgar around (since there was no official Dilgar design in the TV show.)

First one is the Dilgar design series by Agents of Gaming (short: AoG) for the Babylon 5 Wars tabletop game. Ships look like this:

Second one is a design for a Babylon 5 combat flight simulator called "Into The Fire" (short ItF; it's like in the military,we all love abbrevations).
These ships look like this (actually there is a just a capital ship and a fighter):

I tend more to the ItF designs, as they look a little more menacing in my opinion and because I had some trouble with the front section (hey, it is called "bow"!!) okay, with the bow when trying to build one of the AoG designs.

It is your choice!

Besides one vote it looks quite unanimous...
I will put this question tomorrow on the Filefront forum, too. Let's see what they say.

Currently it stands a2files 4 to 2 for the AoG design, while here it is 5 to 3 for ItF. Looks like a draw currently.

I voted for the ITF design but the AOG ships are also interesting.

What I migh suggest is this, the ITF designs could be the advanced warships, the Warlock and Thunderbolt of the Dilgar fleet while the AOG ships could be the less advanced but more common vessels, the Omega and Hyperion of the Dilgar.

That is quite a good idea. I will consider it!

Thanks for that rodglas!

One thing i'm noticing is that the pictures of the AoG ones aren't textured. They look much better with their colours right :-P

That said, when the ItF ships were first publically seen, it was the colour scheme that got peoples' attention. They began painting their AoG miniatures with ItF colours (and to good effect, from what i've heard. I've not yet seen any.)

I like the ITF look better. The other one, well, it suggests a "Soft" feel!

Surely that's because of the colours too, right?

Here take a look, THIS is a Dilgar vessel

Sure it's only a model, but you can see the correct colours on it :-P

I am considering position...

Any comments on the Dilgar ship (and colours)?

Well, I like the ITF one. Yes, I know this post is a bit late, but that's the ship I always think of when I think of the Dilgar, the Sekhmet class heavy cruiser.

Here's the B5tech.com page on the ship:

As you can see, its the ITF style ship (even cites the ITF game in the sources down at the bottom).

While I like the look of the AOF hulls, I'm with Rodglas on this one: mix and match! Use different hull-types for different purposes.
