I hate the cold, and right now in Australia it's winter. Thursday morning it was 2 degrees C when I got up at 5:30am to go to work. Yesterday it would of been I say about 0 or -1 as there was ice on my windscreen of my car when I got out of the house to go to work.
And we still have 3 months of this. I believe winter here will last for close to 5 months this year in terms of the cold as it was really cold for three weeks before winter officialy started and it will take some time to warm up again.
Like I have said to some of the guys at work, give me a 40 degree c day over a 4 degree c day any day. I don't feel the heat as much as I did 4 years ago, but them again 4 years ago I never felt the cold.
Talk about acclimatising to your job.
its been unuasly warm here
actualy it was realy hot and we were all sweating at my school abd my school is strict on uniform so u have to whear about 50 layers of clouthing at a time
LoL that would suck!!
I prefer the weather where it is just comfortable, but I would take the cold over the heat anyday! I hate the heat, you can't do anything because it's so hot and so many people smell :p and mum runs the air con at like 5 below because she feels the heat heaps and we all have to go and put jumpers on because we get so cold! :cry2:

I just love it when it is cold. I am not completly hating these hot temperatures we currently have here in Berlin, but a hard winter is much more appreciated :)
This winter we even had -40°C, that's Moscow winter standard temperature...

Last summer we had a 43°C day. The funny thing is while at work in a tin workshop/shed it was like 44°C and I thought it was like 36°C, that was till I heard the temp on the radio.

1 foot of snow is bad?
We had 2 and a half feet of snow and everything was open, schools, everything. This city just will not shut down.
Yeah, here in RSA, things are pretty bloody cold for this time of year, too. Freakily cold. Very little rain, though . . .
Hey, Intrepid, a few years ago (when I was 13), I went to visit family in USA and Canada. When I got to Chicago, the temp was a balmy -32 Degrees C. Then, when I got to Canada, the coldest I got to there was +- -48 to -50 Degrees C. Even now, my body remembers sometimes . . . . :(
Liked it, though. I could always put more on. In summer, I can only take so much off. And it can cook here in summer . . .
Well, wouldn't we all like to live where the temp was not too hot or cold? :)

No, I enjoyed my -40°C in Winter.
^ Good point. Liked that particular winter as well. My one and only White Christmas . . .

Wow, summer here. Definitely a contrast between Northern and Southern Hemisphere (duh). Wow 2 degrees C. About 36 to 37 degrees F. That's brrrr, cold, mate. Dang that sucks.
Hold it a sec. It's summer there, but 2 Degrees??!!??!!?? Ouch . . .
Our weather can't make up its mind. First hot, then cold . . . yesterday, it was supposed to be 23 Degrees C. The wind punched it up to, I'd say, about 30 Degrees C. Now, today, it's 16 Degrees C. :?
Have a good day, Y'all!!

We had about 25 - 30°C the last days and now it rains like hell. Heavy thunderstorms, heavy rainfall.
The Berlin Fire Brigade even had to call out "Emergency Status".
These thunderstorms were all over Eastern Germany but I am in the very center of it all here!
Eek! I hate thunderstorms!
It is so cold here of a day at the moment, we usually turn the heater on during the day...the other day it came on at 12:30pm and didn't go off until 9:30pm! I hatte Winter :(
Here the wather is so crazy.... for 5 days rain then there is a horrible sun and whit all the rain of the past days IS SO HOT!!!!!

It's summer here, and very hot. Today I believe it came about 30 degrees C, even with the rainfall.
But it's quite normal to be over 40 degrees C. in July month here I live, and this month have just started, so it will propably be that this year, too.
About winters, I remember one with 2 - 3 meters of snow not so long ago! And it was below -20 degrees C most of the time!
Dang. If it's that hot up North this Summer, I'd hate to see what us Southern Cross people are gonna get for Summer in a few months. Maybe I should invest in a ticket to visit my family in America for a few months . . . :)
Actually where is more hot in the world?
Places along the equator, as it is more tropical there... I believe that the places along the equator are the hottest...
Hmmm....as I recall, one of the hottest is Death Valley, California. 73 Deg. C
And the Sahara Desert. And the Gobi. None of which I'd like to visit in mid dry season . . .
LOL yeah I'm sure of that!
