Born in the old "German Democratic Republic", that whole thing broke down and so I raised in the "Federal Republic Of Germany".

But, honestly, I don't give too much on nationalities.

I'm from da U.P. eh? (for anybody not knowing, that is the Upper Pennisula of Michigan, U.S.A.) More specifically I was born in Sands Michigan. Fortunately I no longer reside in that area:ty: I spent last year in Germany, (Federal Republik and all) Now I'm back in da U.P. Eh?

(Eh? one of them expressions following a statement. Similar to the british 'wot'.)

Federal Republic and all, lol. Luckily there's only one (democratic) Germany now.

So now we have mostly Australians, Britsh and US-Americans, and a few others, like me. A good mix, if you ask me!

Well, almost the same. Lived in South Africa all my life, but I did go on holiday to America & Canada once. What can I say? Mom and Dad both have sisters . . . one's an American and one's Canadian. Interesting family reunions, there . . . :)
