I just watched first conttact and the Borg arnt realy very clever

The whole not attacking unless u r a threat is a bit stupid after about 6 time federation people have infultrated the borg u would think the borg would reconcider their tatics
why dont the borg carry ranged weapons?

Also when fighting the borg wouldnt it be simpler to use a mashine gun or a baleth so the borg couldnt attack?

lol . the Borg can be killed with bullets yeah , but most Starships dont have Projectile weapons , they need to be replicated for boardings , and most dont know the Borg are coming ( and not counted havein to fight off more than 1000 borg drones with bullets , u need LOTS of ammo ! )

what about ships like the defiant that were built for fighting the borg (there wars that projctile sniper rifle from ds9 that u could fire from 1 room and it would transport the bulet right infront oif your target, they could kill the borg queen that way.

Even if they dsidnt use projecties most ships should have bladed weapons on boared such as the baleth

yea 1 hit and you go flying. and instead of punching you in the side of teh neck these things come outta there hands and infect you with drones. in voyager one guy gets beaten my a ungrowen borg in that heavily damaged cube with only 5 children borg

worf used bladed weapons against the borg effectivly so i thingk the borg would find it hard to assimilate the klingons (they would probably just destroy them)

transporting key system out may be difficult but transporting a torpedo to the shield gernerator (so the enemy cant raise shields) the transporter room (so they can't beem them off) and the bridge (to kill the command crew)
since they wernt firing the torpedos from the laun chers thje energy wouldnt build up
