View Full Version : Dadymetheus, or Would It Be a Promalus?
Got bored last knight approximated 700 words into my 5000 word essay,
so i figured why not kit bash.
But!
instead of ripping off other peoples models i did my own, and made a comical, yet i think kinda fetching SG design.
It uses parts of my Prometheus and Daedelus Models.
So... what is it? a dadymetheus or a primalus?

Nice Design!!!
How about this for a name... USAF Romulas X-305
Let me see... prometheus stole the FIRE from the gods... deadalus the famous inventor and father....
Hmmm Icarus? :P
(although you might have a little trouble getting people to crew her....especially on long trips over water..)
good point there creed. Maybe if we just dont tell them :o
"Welcome aboard the..uuhh... ship!"
"Sorry? you stuttered on the name, whats this ship called?"
"It has a name... nothing too worrying, honest!"
Ive still not decided on a name, Icarus is good, but i know its been used by other fan-models.

Well it has elements of Prometheus... but is an afterthought.
'Epimetheus' means 'afterthought', and he was the brother of Prometheus...
Sounds like a fitting name to me :)

How about you call it the Dauntless?
I have a ship calle dteh Epemitheus, and thats exactly why i chose the name, however, Epemetheus was depicted as a fool, and was lacking forethought when he gave all the creations traits.
As seen in my low polygon models thread (Jeddy's Low Polygon Models - Majestic Sci-Fi Central (http://www.majesticscificentral.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2163))
I added to it a bit and came up with a ship i named there "Sentinel" I have since changed this to Argonaut
