Who is the Final Cylon

Ok, season four just opened in the UK last night, and I thought it would be an interesting topic to discuss who everyone thinks the final human (skin job)cylon is/could be.


My opinion, its not Starbuck, its too obvious, Iam going shoot for Adama, as it woul prove to be Ironic to the whole saga, there greatest enemy is there leader!

I think it is the President. She is trying to hard to get everyone to "stay the course" and ignore new signs. That and she is becoming to friendly with the Cylon that was in her dream. Maybe the reason she never went into the building in her dream was because she was already there.

Its too obvious to be starbuck imo, as much as i dislike her i dont think she will be the final model. However, i think it might be, and would be awesome if it was teh president. We know the other 4 have awoken, and all of a sudden the president is adamant that Starbuck not be trusted and they move away from earth. WQE saw from Col Tigh's "vision" that there may still be malice towards the colonials, i guess shooting adama in the head is a good indication, So maybe the President is the 5th and doesnt have the emotional attachement of Tigh (different programming?)

On the other hand i guess the fact she has cancer might detract from that, and The plan is the "second in commands" have been infiltrated (XO of galactica andpresidential aide, also Tyrol being chief viper fixer-upper person) I think Sam's Role is yet to be defined, as said he is a nugget, but we havent seen teh long term "effect" of what ever happened to him when that raider stared at him (Maybe activating something, the red flicker in his eye and all)

As starbuck said in the ep, She could just be a clone from that Farm-facility on Caprica. and not exactly a cylon.

I honestly dont think its Adama, and for that reason i doubt it can be Lee, and again, baltar is a little too obvious, although he does still see six, and six sees/saw him. possible link there.

then again theyc ould be cheap and just say there were two models that looked exactly like boomer :p

I find the cylons mych more intresting than the humans overall. I liked the whole lobotamy thing in the first two episodes,
Not sure about the final cylon though, it would be really anoying if it was just a whole new character.

I agree with you jed about starbuck, and with you Cylon about the Cylons being more interesting overall than the humans, especially with the new conflict within their ranks.

I just think it will be interesting to see when they do get to Earth. Most religions on earth have only 1 god. LOL. Whoever ends up being the final Cylon it will make the show very interesting for sure.

Here's a possible twist, the colonials are all cylons, made by the orignal tribes of man, and the the final cylon is actually everyone, that would throw a spin on things

wouldnt really work tbh. seen as its only since the raiders "sensed" one of the other 5 that they stopped shooting the colonials. if they were all the "final 5" then that would have happened a LOT earlier.

I think a good twist would be that the 13th colony (aka Earth) is actually a planet of Cylons, the "5 models" bred etc etc and diversity began to spread thusly creating humans as we know them.

but for the 5th model i think after seeing episode 2 "six of one" we knida know who it is, although i will stand to be corrected, as it does seem obvious.

Baltar is too obvious, and has already been tested to see if is a cylon, I do beleive he has a bigger role in all of this that isnt obvious yet, but I dont think he will be the final one

I was saying that because of how well he described the music they all heard. and how was he tested? the jury is still out (imo) as to how effective his cylon detector was, ok it got boomer but to my knowledge he didnt get anyone else. IE the XO who im sure would have been one of the first detected

After watching that last episode i thing Hera could be the final cylon, though it could still be the president as she was sharing the dreams.

It's gotta be someone who WASN'T on board Galactica at the time the other four came together.

So let's see.

Adama and Roslin are far too obvious choices. Adama's got two sons-- Cylons can't reproduce (see also: Saul Tigh). And Roslin reacted too well to the Cylon blood when it stopped her cancer-- it practically came out and said, "hey, I'm human".

Same with Karl Agathon and the late Cally Henderson. They've had kids within the fleet. And they're telegraphing Starbuck far too much for her to be the fifth. Plus they've got some other role lined up for Baltar. He doesn't work as a Cylon.

Remember the shock value of Tigh or especially Chief Tyrol being Cylons? I'm STILL reeling from what happened to Cally. That's the kind of thing these writers want. Shock value. Visceral punch-to-the-guts reactions from the viewing audience and, more crucially, the online audience, who I'm convinced they are, in fact, paying closer attention to than probably any other show out there.

So if I had to put it down to one character who would be an absolute "holy #$*& !!!" moment to find out is a Cylon, it'd be that woman who just died of cancer, Emily. Yeah, she was on the Galactica at the time, but a little busy dying to follow the music. And it explains why she needed the tape recorder of Baltar's-- to drown out the sound. Not to mention that Roslin was practically spooning with her by the time she died. Cylons have that kind of ability to get into people's minds.

Nobody else, whether it's Gaeta or Dee or anyone else on the sidelines, really has the same kind of mind-frak effect. Of course, that means really playing up the Roslin factor, since she's got both Torry Foster and the late Emily playing on her mind. Adama gets to deal with Saul Tigh, it seems, in the next episode coming up this week.

My 'dark horse' choice for the Twelfth Cylon is Tom Zarek. The man who always seems to be at the right place at the right time, and always on the right side of things.

Well it looks like Roslin is one of the final 5 skin-jobs

In the preview for next weeks episode -
They will be revealing that she is one of the 5.

There are also others on that baseship, like Gaius Baltar... Roslin could just be in the same room.

I truly hope that Adama is not getting back his command in the next episode... Tigh is currently much better suited for that... yes, he's a Cylon. but he's off alcohol. I am interested in who's going to be the new XO... hopefully not Helo, again. Personally, I am in favour of Racetrack, but I guess that is far fetched.

And it looks like Adama is mourning over Roslin... or sitting at her bed, while she's dying.

Sorry, Syf, that's not what I saw.

The shot of a woman popping out of water was probably the resurrection of Number Three, the intended mission of the rebel-Cylon/Colonial joint strike against the resurrection hub. We know from this week's episode that they must have made the effort to stop them. We'll find out next week what happens if they survive.

I thought people may find this interesting, one of the bookies is actually taking odds on who the final skin job will be heres what they were today, but ive been told they will revised after tonights show (on sky 1)

i doubt its either William, or Lee Adama, too much documented family history for it to make sinse. Gaius Baltar is a way to obvious choice. recently, i've been suspecting Ace Lawer Romo Lampkin, the sneaky, in the shadows guy, has the qualifications. and since he isn't a main character, it leaves few to suspect him.

i must say, Ellen Tigh as the Final Cylon... was rather disappointing. they didn't even pick a character that would have been a shocking revelation. instead they pick a useless character, thats been dead since New Caprica. extremely disappointing... unless that was the point. and there tricking everyone, and Ellen Tigh is not actually the 5th.

That is all well and well but what I want to know is:


How Did the 5 of them Get to the Colonies if they where killed on Earth, also what about Kira? And wow did not writers not add in the message that the past will repeat it's self? I mean Earth Cylons before the Colonials even Make them? What is up with that?

Ellen Tigh being the 5th final cylon, I think it works, kind of...
As far as being a "a useless character", I have to disagree. Mrs. Tigh worked as a "supplemental" character for one of the main secondary casts of the show: Galactica's XO.

Presumably they suvived the nuclear holocaust on earth,due to reserection ship like technology, this same technolgy could lead to us seeing her again.
