not done any work for this mod for a while. which has let me think properly about the design as well as "researching" ship designs (by researching i mean watch as much stargate as possible)

Well, this is the fruit of all my labours.

its not completely finished yet, its not textured and im not sure if the model is finished yet (id like recomendations etc)

but here it is! the USAF Epemetheus


This ship was designed after the fall of the Prometheus, and due to the need for a smaller more manuverable craft they looked back at the faults with their first ship, repaired them and upgraded the entire system.

This ship is more or less the missing link between the prometheus and Daedelus class ships.

Its one of the warships from the Stargate - Bridge Commander Mod. It started at 65,000 polygons - I have only spent about an hour on it today and have poly-reduced it down to 4,674 polygons.

Had a bit of a play with the textures as well.

Very nice looking ship you have done there!! What is the size comp. to a Aurora Class?

As I remember from the pack it was a cruiser wasn't it?, so I'm assuming slightly smaller and less powerful.

I got that ship down to about 3000 a while ago.

Also please remember it's 800x600 max that pictures are allowed to be show. Thumbnail or link to them if they are any larger as they strech the forum and slow load loading speed.

Sadly no, not sure if i still have it actually (the great Harddrive failure of about 3 months ago destroyed a lot of good ships...) although saying that, i did find a load of ships on my Internal HDD and it might be amoung them.

those are great looking ships, i wish y could make something as great as that with milkshape, but i just suck at it. As i said on the other thread, i've still got some sketches that i would love to share....if you are intrested. The thing is make them. I've got what could be a Tau'ri advanced shipyard, intended to be big enough to build the achilles or a bit bigger ships. Also an asgard research station, and a couple of ships. If oyu are intrested just say so.
