View Full Version : Weapon: Horizon Missile
Hello, well i was playing around with Milkshape for a bit and decided to try and go at modelling. This is my very first attempt at anything, i thought id start small and keep it simple so i chose this weapon.
Seen in 'First Strike' without spoiling it and to remind those who cannot remember this was the Apollos' first mission and with them they bought the Horizon missile, which contained 6 Mark 9 nucleur missiles aka The Gatebuster.
Now i havent try texturing, and i know its not accurate but hey its my first model.
So ill attach what it will look like and what ive done so far, im even going to try and animate... eventually so here it is, criticise all u want :)
Yeah looks good, more than I managed on my first try lol :)
I was really lazy when i first tried, then i read the tutorial, i probably know any 5% of modelling oh well :)
Thanks for feedback
Update, attempting textures...
Hey, that texture looks pretty good.
I had a go myself. mine is weighing in at 67polys, which to me seems heavy although the stock game bees are 72.
also, im guessing yours is a lot less than that heh,

I'm no modding expert, but thats **** good for a first go. My first attempt looked like a spikey drone lol. BTW It's good to see the mods got some momentum again.
