Now, please post your own lists, denoting which you consider as sci-fi, and feel free to discuss the lists posted.

Dragonball Z was really the only one that I liked back in my Anime days.

Moved to misc sci-fi too.

Lol, now that's a surprise. To be honest, Majestic, you never really struck me as one who watched anime.

Though, speaking of the Dragonball franchise, I remember watching some episodes from one of the series, but its been so long I forget the exact one.

A long time ago Kosh, back a good 7 years now.

Only ones i've seen there are Full Metal Alchemist (which was fantastic, though the ending for the movie was slightly disappointing - we want more darnit!), Samurai Champloo (Mugen rocks, as does Momo:lol: ) and the Animatrix.

Unless Transformers: Robots in Disguise is the original G1 version....

Oops, forgot to add three to my list.

Here's the ones I forgot:

Death Note
Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow
Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa

Lol, then I suggest you check out some of the ones that have come out since, and even some of the older ones. Dragonball is alright, for young boys, but a few I listed are for more mature audiences. For example, -R.O.D.- The TV and the movie, Read Or Die, its sequel too both have quite intense action sequences and people, at least I did, can get emotional watching it (can't say why without using spoilers).

Agreed. The FMA movie's ending was rather disapointing, IMHO. If they were going to do that:

They should have had Winry cross realities with them.

Its been so long, and I've seen so much that I'll have to get back to you on that, lol.

Not a big fan of it in general; I do like the Gundam series however and as a kid I remember watching Dragonball Z every Saturday for a couple of hours and then switching channel to Digimon for another five hours in the afternoon

I always thought that the games were more enjoyable though; often I play a quick game of Never Ending Tomorrow and then load up Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for a quick tournament.

I really can't say I've ever been in to Anime. DBZ is about the only anime I've ever really liked.

I dunno - personally I would rather have seen the opposite lol:

They should have stayed in their reality, and Alternate Rose (i forget the name) come with them. then theres potential for another movie or series featuring a war through the gateway until they find a way to close it without sending them back - like having Al re-posess a suit temporarily like we see him do earlier, go back through and shut it. he's certainly as powerful as Ed, in his own way, and that would/should have worked from whats established in the movie.

Slight edit needs to be made.

Virus Hunter Serge is incorrect. It should be:

Virus Buster Serge

@Knight: Agreed.

Alternate Rose crossing over to the main FMA world's side would have made more sense as she would most likely have led a far better life there.

@Elrond & Amateur: If you both want, I can put together a list of the more adult oriented animes for you to check out.

Gotta agree:
Didn't Alternate Rose say that the reason she helped the bad guys get Ed there, was so that she could cross over and lead a better life where she wasnt persecuted for being a gypsy?

Hmmm, been years since I turned on the TV to watch an anime, but here's what I did watch...

Trigun
Pokemon (The first series, none of the new ****)

And, I know there was one other I watched... Oh well, I'll have to figure it out later...

Edit: I've watched a number of the movies with Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away among them, but again, I know there's more I've seen just can't remember them... :(

IIRC, I think so. Its been a month or so since I saw the movie, and I only saw it the one time, unlike others which I prefer to watch multiple times, so my memory isn't as exact as I would like. Luckily, I can check it back out from the library if need be, lol.

I've now seen:

Gunbuster Girls
Speed Grapher
Blood: The Last Vampire
Gurren Lagann
Now and Then, Here and There
Tactics
Appleseed
Black Jack
Street Fighter Alpha: Generations
Street Fighter Alpha: The Movie
Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie
X
Dead Leaves
Kai Doh Maru
Sword for Truth
Witchblade

And that's all I recall off of the top of my head right now. Will add more to my list when I remember them.

For those that do not truly know what Anime (http://www.majesticscificentral.com/forum/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=45224) means I would like to Refer you all to a Wikipedia link, This link will reveal some interesting motions to what some consider Anime and Not.

Ok here is the small list of what I watched/have:

Chobits
Love hina, Love hina again
Ghost in the shell
Chrono crusade
Gundam seed
Bleach
3x3 eyes
Angelic layer (a prelude to Chobits
Ah my goddess

As you an tell I don't have alot lol, I prefer to read manga for some of these as the anime somtimes differs (in the case of Chobits and Chrono crusade) but there both good. also some of the above aren't action lol so some yall may not like them heh. as writen in the anime fans social group, some get all lovey dovey towards the end and others get too serious. guess thats were my taste lies lol
