Competition

ok i have an idea in order to get a bit of focus on the efforts of everyone
im going to run a competition every so often
they will involve doing something for the mod like a specific ship or texture or screens etc
so anyone who wants models done but cant do them themselves send them to me and i'll put them to our community in the compitition and to be fair and not just getting my things textured ill pick randomly on any models

obviously the winner will have his work in the mod
cant think of a prize but maybe someone can think of something realistic
i wont be judging it on my own obviously but if you make an entry you forfeit a vote

first competition is a big one but necessary for the look of the mod

i want the menu screens not the main menu cause cdp has already made it
but the options screens and multiplayer menus and skirmish menus etc.
one tip try keep them consistant and in theme eg it looks stargatey lol not a proper word but meh

all the menus are in bitmaps in your main directory so you can work off them just look around for more in case i missed some

Hey here is my first attempt at the instant action screen will post some shots of it use soon. :) Before i do the other screens i would like some feed back see if u like it wat should b changed etc. Oh just incase your wondering the ancient and gou'ald writing both say "The Stargate Project" (that bit took ages to do lol)

looks good just a suggestion see where the colour selection is extend the box all the way around if you can instead of having it cut through them very nice mate keep up the good work

K There isnt much interest in this competition so i think i'll close it and ask the people with entries to finish them then we can vote
In the meantime i will open a second competition soon
