Ships done during my absence

Watch this space for various ships i have created whilst the old forum was down.

The check list is;

Ancient Battleship - Una Salus Fatum

Wraith Battleship - Harbinger of Destruction

Tauri Assault frigate - Trojan

Tauri Support Frigate - Pegasus

Tauri Attack Cruiser - Theseus (much improved from my last attempt)

Asgard Attack Cruiser - Mjolnir (new and improved from my last attempts)

Ori Destroyer - Light of the Fire Class

Goauld Cruiser - Hesketh Class


Also, done 3 stations

Ancient Research City/station (smaller version of atlantis with next to no deffences)

Ori Research station "Secrets not widtheld" class

and an Ori ship yard with out a name yet,

Here is the Una Salus Fatum Super powerful, probably best as a hero ship should it be used in-game, or slightly weaken it and limit the numbers still

As its name translated means "Last hope of the doomed" (or ****ed, cant remember) it has 2 mid-sized Drone bays, 2 Energy cannons, and 2 shocky weapon things.

We have been away from each other for to long bud!!
Looking good as always on the ships and stations there!! I just found out about all of us moving over to here for the Stargate Project. Hope to build everything back up to where we all had it before and try and get this mod finished!! How are you doing!!

The ships are hot dude, We will have to see if we can get hold of RJB to see how he's ben getting on aswell. Glade to see that people still garried on even without the site being up.

The ancient desgins amazing, love the bit where there are gaps gives it a really unique look.

For the Ancient Battleship...

May I suggest the more common "Una salus Victis" which gives the fuller conotation of the meaning of the phrase "the one hope of the doomed, victory" (as opposed to life, or survival) and is somewhat more hopeful for a ship class then simply "...the doomed."

i do see what you mean, but, because of the time and manner in which this ship was created and dispatched it was seen as the last hope of a doomed race, and it (being never officially named) became known in the shipyards as "the last hope of the doomed"

Reflecting how facing inevitable defeat was a rather demoralising event.

As you may know i got the idead of the ship, and name, from Andromeda (Una salus Victus - Awesome episode, shame there was no pixie dust)

sorry for the double post, just wanted to add another ship.

this is the Mjolnir as Designed by Thor and became known as Thor's Hammer as it is a Combat vessel able to deliver a tremendous amount of damage to opposing craft.

I have this ship you might be interested in.

I call it the Asgard Class. Its an Earth Battlecruiser purpose built with Asgard techology gained in the series finally.

Its weapons would still include missiles and railguns in addition to 4 massive Asgard beam cannons designed to counter the Ori threat. It is larger then the 304, but not overly and is not designed as a carrier.
Its more of a Dreadnaught.

The first ship of the Class would be called the "USS Thor" with other Asgard seen in the series following.

btw, ive had thoughts about the Athena, i like her, but shes a little too bland to be one of the big ships, so i was thinking, like a light cruiser sub-light border patrol craft.

I agree, the Athena would fit best as a smaller craft. Maybe as a missile frigate?

yeah something like that, not a main player in a fleet, but atleast a workhorse or something.

You could use the two side pods as the missle launching areas. It could be like the steamrunner class only the missles would be acurate and not make an all damging shockwave.
