hey here is an ori base i made i know its not celestus but maybe celestus isnt a ship like atlantis

Sexy, Very Ori looking. Celestus wasn't a ship. It was a city....And I think it was in another dimension to be honest. Seeing as the Ori were there.

I think he is talking about the curved shape that all ori things tend to take.

For example the Dosai's metal thing.....

Make them thinner, and have them be curved on the inside and outer edges but the sides be flat. Also if you could keep the column thin near the top and slowly expand out to match the size of the bottom ring.

Of course, doing it that way the "Ori logo" would be upside down. lol

looks good i have the columns smoother and im changing there shape a slight bit ill post a pic when its done whats the poly count on yours actually what is the polys allowed for the main bases

imo thats a lot better,

Poly count for a station is 5500 MAx, if memory serves.

The poly could for my station (which was first meant to be a research station is 3616

and its called ori craft and i thinck it could be used as either a construction pod, a fighter or a cruiser. Please say weather or not you thinck its good. also its been made with gmax and i know youguys are using lightwave but i can convert it o sod just the same

btw i think the pro starting base still should be the supergate then u build a construstion ship from there (make it look like its comign throught he event horizon!) and that can build other stations such as a "field Base"
