A twitching eye can be a sign of many things. You should get it checked out by a doctor.

I myself have a little eye twitch problem. Mine is because of Allergies and also stress.

Specifically, If I start having an allergy attack. It starts a twitch. And the same thing if I have a very bad "stressful" day. It goes away if I take some meds for allergies, or if it's stress related, then I take Ibuprofen.

If your twitch is not going away, then you may have somehow damaged your eye and/or nerves. If it gets worse, see a neurologist.
