• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

That's something for after the fleets are 100% complete. We have about 80% complete with making 2 campaign races playable now.

Hardpointing is a tedious task.

Tell me about it lol :)

The Nodes have to be exact, the child nodes have to be place precisely, or else you could have venting plasma fires in the wrong places

Yeah I've had that problem, really annoying.

Now the question comes to mind, what do the fans of the mod want to see next in the next peak at the mod?

How about a ship belonging to the secret race, as it would help with the guessing process :)

The secret race is secret, showing a unit of theirs will give them away so no sneak peaks of them will be shown.

Hmmm, no more sneaky attempts to retreive classified information. Back to topic please.

You know what I want to see? Appropriate spelling. Let's take a peek at our dictionaries, shall we . . . ?
:)

On setting hardpoints, you could always just call it a minor refit or graphics error, blame the Temporal Cold War for introducing the Venture refit prematurely -

*BASH*

Okay, ignore me, I'm just getting hit over the head with a hammer, here. Maybe that way I won't beat a dead horse, instead.

Actually, it depends on where your from as to what is proper spelling. Myself, I'm here in Oklahoma... We have words you don't have in a dictionary.

Let me share some with you-
Sumor: Le'see "sumor" of thez great pix!
Whazit: "Whazit" you were say'n bout that?
Woodcha: "Woodcha" quit goin on an on already!

Yes, I used "Peak" instead of "Peek"... As in the "top" of the pinnacle of this mountain of a mod. So, you want to see the Peak or not?:p

You can find more great "American" words in the Jeff Foxworthy's Redneck Dictionary: Words You Thought You Knew the Meaning Of for the low low price of 2 packs of Skoal chewy tobaccy and a pack of Budweiser. And remember, when we get home from a long day of work, "I want a beer and I wanna see sumtin' naked!"
