Hi guys! :) I'm working on one ship, it's almost done except one tiny thing..Applied texture don't show properly in Storm3D or in game... I believe the probem is in model/mesh...texture is fine...Below you can see how the ship should look; on the left is 3DS Max and on right is Storm3D...
So what's wrong??

I don't have any experience with 3DS Max but, it seems to me that the issue is with the texture type. You do have the texture saved as a .tga file right? If that is right, you need to double check your lighting settings on your model (ambient, diffuse, specular, and emissive. )

Check your texture settings. All Armada TGA files must be uncompressed and in 24bit.

Texture is saved as .tga with 24-bit option, but it shows ''messed up'' in storm3d so I dont know what is wrong...
Please, forgive me if I dont resepect forum rules but below is link for ZIP file containing SOD file and three TGA files so take a look...

Little explaination...
proba.sod = model; proba on croatian means "test"
prozor.tga = means window; texture file for ship's windows
točka.tga = texture for yellow dots
trup.tga = texture for entire hull --- most important texture and our main "trouble"

Thank you for your help in advance! If you can please tell me what caused texture to show like that in game so I can know in future to make it work properly...

This model worked just fine for me in Storm3d and Armada 2. Is it possible that the material names are being truncated when exported from whatever program you're using, leading to duplicate material names?

I was using 3DS Max 2009 and paint net so I dont know what could be wrong...I was doing everything with model like usual...
1. model was in fbx format and than I exported it in 3ds format using 3ds max,
2. I imported 3ds in milkshape and than expored it to SOD to get hierarchy...
3. once again I imported sod in 3ds max, edited it, re-size it and textured it (and textures were 24-bit, uncompressed)
4. I made odf and ship works in game

I even tried 3ds max 7...so I dont know where is issue..ship still shows that texture issue

I'll try tommorrow procedure again and we'll see..

Can someone edit little bit SOD and Textures so eventual changes could make some difference??
