With the next big version of Sigma released, and a hotfix patch uploading at the moment, there are several directions I can go with Sigma now. I'm curious to know what other people would like to see in the next big patch. The options I'm considering are:

- Start the campaign, work on the cinematics, and hunt for people to do voiceovers.
- Do a huge map pack for multiplayer.
- Add in the rest of the Wildlife races.
- Add in the rest of the NPC races.
- Add in the two races that are not supposed to show up until the expansion pack.

I'm surprised that the current version was never sent to MSFC for upload, considering the forums are located here and much of the fan base as well.

I did send the current version to Terra Inc I think about a week ago, I presume he's just been busy and not uploaded it yet.

Ah, always send them to:

Code:
files@msfc.com.au

as that is the email for files, sending it to one particular person can sometimes not work, as evident by this.

If you want I can see about trying and uploading it tomorrow night.

Sorry guys, I was horribly busy and really couldn't spare the ~1h for uploading Sigma... shame on me! Anyway, I'll have a try this evening, if Maj doesn't get to it first. Again, sorry people, was not intended to work out this way.

Campaign will probably get you the most popularity and downloads :) . A campaign is always a good introduction for casual gamers into the normal gameplay. Would also seem to be the hardest task however...

I think some what a blend of the multiplayer maps and the two expansion races, becuz this would (i think) tremendously increase the mulltiplayer playability. But just for the sake of a one choice poll, i chose the races.

Awesomeness. I have a hotfix patch ready to... it's only 10 mb this time around.

As for the thread I think I'm leaning towards the finishing wildlife, as right now I'm waiting for a few MMM things to be finished up (it does not even seem to work with the current version of FO anyway) so the campaign will have to wait a bit.

I didn't see the hotfix in the files email account.

Yeah even though I voted for campaign, I think one of the others would be better until MMM is advanced and improved upon.

Go with your first intuition.

Don't know why it usually is the best but it is

i vote wildlife because everyone loves to blow up helpless critters :naughty: ...or not so helpless

and i wonder, for a single player map, you could have a random event in a map that if a sertan(what is the correct spelling for this word???) amount of ships gets in one area, a shadow ship comes out of nowhere and kills all or some of the ships there and disappears.

it would be like: in the middle of a battle 2 players are hashing it out and  Bam! it now resembles that Narn outpost that got tosted. ( :) the Centauri are happy :) )

It wouldn't have to be on all maps, it could be a special map where the ideia is to not make a big fleet or it will get wasted, forcing the players to work strategically. just bouncing a random idea here, tell me if it is possible/good/bad ideia...
