Hi,

I know what some will say before i even link this picture.

this is another Nemesis + Fed design.

While i still respect your opinions and look forward to your feed back, in reality i dont care if you moan about it being another fed ship, as i like making them, and thats what im here to do, make what i like.

I started a new kitbash using the Century class, Premonition class and P81s intrepid class.

It is to all intents and purposes finished.

I am currently awaiting permission from the various creators to see if im allowed to release it, either way, i just wanted to show off what i think is a brilliant looking ship, even if i do say so myself.

(there is a problem with the mesh, i may have had an eager delete finger and not realised why!)

Spoiler: Embankment Class

The name of the class is taken from an area of london, a lot of my design names from now on will be from areas from england. Mainly because that never seemed to happen in Star trek

On the permission fornt i am having trouble getting in touch with the guy who created teh premonition class. the email in the readme seems to no longer exist

I like it although the mix of Intrepid components and Sovereign components at differing scales is a little odd to look at at first.

I had assumed that it was named for the place, rather than the architectural feature, and I agree we need more British classes. We have the Ark Royal (mainly because they used all the American Carrier names for the Constitutions ) but, more I say!

USS Barbican as a sister ship perhaps?

I think it'll need a sister ship, USS Rampart. Special weapon: Red Glare.

Although it's certainly an interesting design.

A good looking ship there. A bit strange looking, but I like strange too.

The Preminition is it P81 (Rick Knox)? If so he has a general usage permission on his materials that as long as you credit him it's fine to use his stuff.

As for the design I like it, kind of like a smallier Preminition class.

Well, as it has probably become apparent by now, I am not a fan of kitbahses. Saying that though, considering what you have, it is a nicely done kitbash, which seems to create an 'alternate' premonition variant.

thats due to my over eager delete button, i had a random Group that in MS3d looked like it was nothing, so i deleted, got it in game then thought "Ah... tahts what it was" i am in the process of sorting it out, its just a case of getting the time.

i like strange too, it is and thats kinda what i wanted, i never really liked the nacelles of the Intrepid, so i thought why not put the standard ones on, and using the Century's hull kinda manipulated the shape a little which was good.

over all i dont think its too weird but highlights the federations experimentation with designing.

Tbh i dont mind about kitbashes, at the end of the day im under no illusions, all i have done is combine other peoples models, but hopefully put them in a new design and different way. it helps me, as im pretty useless at doing federation ships, well, star trek ships in total really.

and it was meant to be an intrepid upgrade/replacement. although i have possibly over armed it slightly. lol

It that fails send me a picture of the original model and I should be able to tell, as far as I know there is only one good looking Prem and I do believe it is P81's.

There was another very nice Premonition made by Major A Payne I believe. Might be that one.

am pretty sure it's from Major A Paynes premonition modding kit, which is a poly reduced version of Queball's Premonition model. Ask MaP.

heres a picture of the premonition i used, not meaning to offend anyone but its not a fantastic model, i only used the above saucer hull. and it helped keep the poly count down (which is still kinda high i guess)

Yes it did, then it's probably p81's. If you can't find a modeller to credit for the stock model credit MadDoc/Activision.

well then that wa sthe one i used.

i found it in my sod folder, and couldnt find the download, so i redownloaded the model which by the looks of it was p81s lol.

well thats that settled!

Nice wee ship jeddy , You could make it a Temporal Cruiser .

Due to the large Premonitions build time, smaller ships where needed to enforce the temporal prime directive and explore the past, As such they designed those ships . However due to the size they arent as effective as the Premonition class .

thats what i think anyways, a smaller ship ment to help defend the timeline or if need be help form a Temporal Fleet to correct it
