Most recently started the Gerry Anderson series UFO which aired between 1970 and 1973.

Identified:
Episode 1.
A very good and interesting start to the series especially the opening scene.
Ed Bishop makes a good lead as Ed Straker. Also fine performances from the other cast members including George Sewell and Wanda Ventham.

Great series, still keeps me entertained on the odd days I catch it. Can't say it hasn't aged, but it has aged gracefully.

Exposed:
Episode 2.
Introduction of Paul Foster played by Michael Billington.
Very good storyline of Foster having seen a UFO and very good presence of Jean Marsh.

Survival:
Third episode on the DVD order, 13th episode on the original transmission order.
Also the name of a Doctor Who serial (but there are no Cheetahs here).
Excellent performance from Michael Billington as Foster as he and an alien fight to survive on the moon.

Conflict:
Episode 4.
Very good in Straker having to deal with the conflict of the title including how he handles Henderson.

A Question of Priorities:
Episode 5.
Just as his son got seriously injured Straker has to attend to a UFO matter at hand.
Things however does not go very smoothly and I really hated the ending.

The Square Triangle:
Sixth episode on the DVD order, tenth episode on the original transmission order.
Quite intriguing that while SHADO is on its latest case a murder plot is added to the mix.
The amnesia pill is introduced here for civilians who have found out about aliens. This is not unlike the retcon drug from Torchwood.
One's morality will determined whether one likes the ending or not.

In a coincidence The Square Triangle was originally aired on December 9 1970, exactly nine years before I was born.

Ordeal:
Seventh episode on the DVD order. 19th transmitted episode.
Paul Foster sure goes through an ordeal of the title which leads to a very unexpected twist towards the end.
Plus also good singing from him.

Close Up:
Ninth episode on the DVD order and 11th transmitted episode.
Interesting episode regarding a Project Discovery and understanding what a picture really means.
Also delighted to see Gabrielle Drake without the purple wig.

Court Martial:
Tenth episode on the DVD order. 20th transmitted episode.
Wow this is a fantastic episode.
The person that was being court martial was Paul Foster.
Despite hard evidence being against him, it was very intriguing to see how he is proven innocent.

Confetti Check A-OK:
Eleventh episode on the DVD order, twenty-second on the original transmission order.
This is episode is a flashback to the beginnings of SHADO and Ed Straker's marriage to Mary.
Although I already knew the outcome it was still sad to see how Straker's marriage disintegrated due to a meddling mother-in-law who simply got things wrong.

Kill Straker!:
12th episode on the DVD order, 7th episode on the original transmission order.
The aliens use their power of suggestion to get Foster to kill Straker.
Brilliant but risky on Straker coming up with the solution to stop Foster from assassinating him.
