• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I believe its quite expensive - the latest edition costs between 6 and 7 hundred US dollars.

Photoshop CS3 right now is priced at $649... CS3 Extended is $999... The Adobe Master Collection (everything CS3) is priced at $2,499...

Keep in mind though there are trial periods for all of these as well...

Yeah those are the same figures I saw, I was lucky enough to get it for free, as my dad uses it for his business and has a copy :)

adobe also released a limited beta version of their CS3 for some people in the industry for free, and it is still floating around out there....

well worth getting your hands on even a basic copy. some very very neat tools included, some of which even can be used not to make naked people...

As the man says a few of us do do klingons etc...
although they are invariably very time consuming to get even near right...
(and you have to be very very picky about the source images...)
Bajorans are comparatively very easy...and half klingons a lot easier than full..
I don't think i'd even bother to try doing any of that without a PS version though...

Me I suck at the more complex stuff, LordTrekkie is much better at the fine tuning than am (or have the patience to learn) but if you have something specific in mind (and a use for it rather than simple idle curiosity) we might manage?

Ok... I can't find an image I like of Sean Connery, so BQ, if you've got one you want me to use please post it, pm it to me, something like that and I'll Trill'ify him. :)

And like Creed said, if you've got something in mind, and it's more than idle curiousity driving the request we'll definitely see what we can do. ;)
