25875 dil per master key...
Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.
Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.
We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.
I still reckon you rank up way too fast. I was gaining a level, sometimes 2, per mission, such that by the end of Wasteland I was Lvl 52!
And the exchange rate has only risen since I've joined so it's not easy to get Zen either...25875 dil per master key...
I've recently gotten back into STO again. A few impressive new features (or just ones I didn't find before); R&D, Admiralty, New Romulus, Reputation systems etc, pretty cool.
I still reckon you rank up way too fast. I was gaining a level, sometimes 2, per mission, such that by the end of Wasteland I was Lvl 52! And I was disappointed that the whole Romulan play was just an intro to joining the UFP or KDF; would have much preferred a third full set of episodes, but hey-ho.
I've had my Fed character for a few months and he's just recently gotten to level 57 so you must have been on during a bonus XP event. Story missions do generally get you a level if you just keep following them, though. That could have been during the experience event where characters were leveling pretty quickly. I got a character from 11 to 51 in twelve hours of play
They still could have had you pick between the Republic and Empire and have that tied into Federation or Klingon alliance. For instance, the RR story line would be mostly unchanged, but always result in a Klingon alliance since the Republic proved they had the kind of honor that Klingons like. To keep from being overrun, the Federation would have entered into an alliance with the Star Empire. This kind of a story could have provided opportunities to make the Federation-Klingon War have more depth, with the Klingons coming across better in light because of the alliance with the RR and the Federation getting knocked down from completely perfect heroes with the RSE alliance. Since Fed-aligned players would be opposing the RR, we might see them do some of the terrorist-y things the Tal Shiar keep accusing them of rather than having the RR be completely perfect heroes and the RSE would probably get some characters that weren't baby-kicking-ly evil. They could even keep the Tal Shiar as bad-guys by having them go rogue, which they do anyway.Their explanation on why the Romulans have to pick sides is because their engine is limited to a red v blue setup.
The doff system is still not working 100% correctly. Sometimes what you need to do is as you approach the sector boarder, you need to slow down real slow. As you cross the boarder, you will see the list update. Go too far, and the list will revert. It can be a real PITA but, that is what I had to do the last time I used the system.
Yeah, its a byproduct of when they went to the new space maps. I do hope they fix it but it will undoubtedly far down the road.I've also noticed that the list changes depending on which direction you come at the border from. In sector A, the list does not contain Resettle Colonists. As I cross the border to sector B, it changes but does not contain the mission. I get into sector B and it is not there. I back up from sector B to the border, it changes, and it is not there. I cross into sector A and it is suddenly there.
My head hurts...
As much as I hate how much of the game content is in the C Store (or whatever it's called now), I like the idea of getting the sleeveless Mirror Universe uniforms for Fed characters, and even though they don't have them available now, I'm sure it'll become something they'll add to the C Store soon enough.
What manner of beast might this be?Dilithium Fleet Vouchers for one character only
I already grabbed mine. They let you donate Dilithium (20,000 in this case) to fleet projects without impacting your actual Dilithium. What manner of beast might this be?
You can also use them in the fleet stores.I already grabbed mine. They let you donate Dilithium (20,000 in this case) to fleet projects without impacting your actual Dilithium.
