Hello MSFC Fleet members. The server for TeamSpeak is up for renewal. No, I am not asking for any money as I am not paying for anything (other then electricity). I bring this to your attention as there has not been any activity on our TeamSpeak server. Due to this, I am considering allowing the domain to lapse and shut down the server until such a time as it would be wanted. If you wish for me to continue running the server to use, please let me know. If I do not have any responses regarding this matter in a few days, then the server will be brought offline. If you want to use TeamSpeak but do not have the info on how to connect, please let me know an I will give you the information.

Yeah, the klinker fleet is kinda empty. I get on just to do the Q race, and will hopefully have a breen cruiser of my own soon.

I still play feds every day though, trying to get the dumb reputation for omega so I can get back to where I was before season 7.

Things in the fleet are moving along slowly but, they are moving along steady. I have been wondering if there is anything I can do to give to the fleet to show my appreciation. I have come up with two ideas.

First, We have been focusing on the fleet advancement system and pretty much ignoring the Embassy. This is being done intentionally as we are a small fleet and we do not need to over extend our limited resources. I did think it would be nice to do something.....anything to the embassy. Therefore, I have taken it upon myself to purchase one of the embassy limited time special projects. It is now complete and ready for the fleet to enjoy. So stop by the embassy on New Romulus and check it out.



Second, I want to organize a friendly fleet PvP match. The perimeters of this match would be you have to use a Tier 1 ship. The ships that would be allowed are, Light Cruiser (Miranda), TOS Constitution, NX Replica, Oberth Science Ship, and Blockade Runner Escort (Steamrunner). The winner of the match would receive a Mirror Advanced Escort. The stats for the ship can be found are:

Mirror Universe Advanced Escort

The Mirror Universe Advanced Escort looks more like our Prime Universe Patrol Escort, but has more of a science advantage in Bridge Officer Seating and Console Configuration.

The Mirror Advanced configuration includes the mirror version of the Dervish, Gryphon and Hermes class.

Nice idea, but an Akira (i think that's T2) is my lowest tier ship.

As for the Embassy, I'd like the engineer fabrication kit (flame thrower oh yeah) but unless we go on a massive recruitment and triple out member count with deep pockets it's out of reach for now.

I won't be participating, not a fan of Tier 1 ships and don't spend much time on STO anyway plus got a fair bit of stuff to do over the next few weeks, which restricts my time online.

What was it again.. 6 or 7 hours difference.. either way middle of the night, almost daybreak. Can't make it at that time.

KDF Fleet Restructuring.

Hello MSFC members,

The KDF Fleet has gone through a rank restructuring. There are guidelines to earn promotions based on fleet involvement. I know it is going to be difficult to have a lot of involvement in such a small fleet of casual players. At this point, the promotion requirements will be pretty light. As the fleet hopefully grows, these requirements will steadily become harder. After all, we don't want a hundred members with the rank of General in our fleet.

The new structuring is as follows.

Hello guys, i have to tell you that i can't get locked on to STO for some time and so even can't donate to fleetprojects. i got a new gaming PC and have to enter that code to verify my account but my e-mail account keeps telling me that i have to contact the support to get a new password as i have entered to much incorrect passwords. have to wait now till i get some answer from the support to my alternative e-mail.

Hello fellow MSFC members. I just wanted to let you all know I will be out of comission for a while. My gaming laptop quitbworking today. I opened it up to do some much needed servicing this morning and now it won't power up properly. I hope to have a replacement rig soon but, I don't know how long it will be.

I am back online. The issue with my laptop was that one of my memory sticks wasn't in all the way. Makes me really feel like an idiot. My WiFi card was damaged though so, I had to go out and buy an external USB WiFi adapter. I will scour the internet to try and get me a new internal card and a new keypad too.

Attention MSFC fleet members,

Due to high project demands and low fleet numbers, the council has decided, after lengthy discussions, to merge the MSFC Taskforce with Nova Core. Nova Core is a PvP focus fleet that is expanding its PvE branch. This merger is designed to help both, the members of MSFC and Nova Core. Her is what is to take place.

The Federation fleet MSFC will dissolve into Nova Core. This is a good thing for our members. Nova Core is at Tier 4 starbase and our members will, as a result of the merger, gain access to higher tier fleet assets. Our current starbase will not be going anywhere however. It will be maintained by a skeleton crew of the fleet council. It will be available for any Nova Core/MSFC member to gain fleet credits if needed. All current members are encouraged to join Nova Core. If you want to get into PvP, this will be a great opportunity to learn from some highly skilled players.

Now I said this would help both MSFC AND Nova Core so you are most likely wondering what they are getting. Nova Core does not have an official KDF fleet. Until now. Yes, the Imperial Alliance will be the new Nova Kore (name is work in progress), the official KDF fleet of Nova Core. This will bring new members into the KDF fleet and help it grow.

This merger does come with a caveat however. Nova Core does require teamspeak for new members. The purpose of this is to build a strong community among the members of Nova Core. I myself use teamspeak and it is free to download and use. You can download it here. Majestic, Kat, and I will continue to have full control over the KDF fleet with logistical support from Nova Core. We will no longer be leaders of a Federation fleet. We will simply be captains to help organize PvE content. We will not require teamspeak for our current KDF members but, the use of teamspeak is encouraged. We (MSFC and Nova Core) do understand there may be issues that may prevent you from using teamspeak and exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.

The hope is for the merger to take place with the release of Legacy or Romulus or soon after. If you do not wish to move to Nova Core, that is understandable and we wish you the best.

Thank you for your time and dedication to the fleet. We have held off this discussion as long as we could but, the demand of the fleet system and difficulties in recruiting made it necessary.
