• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Hey guys, I know a lot of you play Steam, and some of you would consider playing if you could afford the games, but either way I have some good news.

Some of you probably already know about it, but I figured I would post it anyways. Until July 10th, Steam is having huge deals on their games. Every day, they have a new set of games on sale, which will stay on until the end of the promotion, but are at their cheapest on the day they came out. Here are some big ones right now.

Transformers: TWC - $7.49
ARMA2: $20
Assassins Creed: Brotherhood - $20
Assassins Creed II - $6.79
AC:collection - $27.19
CoD:MW2 - $20
Half Life: Complete pack - $26.79
Battlefield Bad Company 2 - $19.99
Complete Star Wars collection - $50

And many many more. As I said, they are the cheapest the day they go on sale, but they are on discount the whole time.

In addition, they have a bunch of activity's you can do to get you entered into a random drawing contest in which the winners will receive the top 10 items on their wishlist. For every three activities you complete you will be able to unlock an item including skins map packs characters, and other basic DLC's available for different games they have. These are just for fun, but I have found it enjoyable to try to complete them even if the reward is silly.

But enough of me talking, go check it out right now!

Oh, and on a related note, Team Fortress 2 is now a free to play game! completely free! Ok... well all those silly items in their store still cost money, but the base game is free to download off of steam. This is not a promotional deal, it is a permanent change.

I wish I could remember my Steam password, but even then I don't meet system requirements for most of the stuff in this sale. Figured.

Yeah, I barely meet it for most. I live with the lag if the game is good enough. I"m planning on building a nice desktop tho, so this works well for me. :)

Yeah, sorry man, the deals ended yesterday too. That is, unless you buy a publisher pack. See here: Summer Sale 2011 Packs
Publisher packs are all around 80% off

Still out of my budget, otherwise I might have bought something like this.
