• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Hey folks,

Some renders I've grabbed at various times with models I've recreated digitally. If you have any lego starships, digital or actually built, post 'em here!

Backgrounds are random from off the internet, and aren't mine. The battlestar belongs to a friend of mine, and the mini Fed ships are reverse-engineered from someone else, butstill, I am most pleased with the outcome!

Thanks guys!

Here's a broadside battle sequence I did up, along with an Omega-class destroyer entering a jumpgate I designed. Cheers!

Thanks! I used instructions I bought online, but went after stuff with a very specific scale should I want to build them IRL. Why just put them on a shelf, after all?

I did a darker skinned version and tweaked some details. Might do a battle sequence at some point between it and something else. I've got a bunch of battlestars...

Greetings fellow space travelers!

After a hiatus due to work, covid, a bunch of drama and other things that happen IRL, I had an urge to render one of my latest physical models. Also been hunting for a new wallpaper for my work PC, and made these two. Can't decide which one I like more!
Here, the SCS Wyvern, a Citadel-class command battlecruiser assigned to 9th Fleet, tests weapons, shields and targeting against a Terran orbital battle platform. Both are my own design. The background is a screengrab from the trailer for the game IXION, inverted and rotated.
Thoughts and comments welcome!

Well that's different. I think that it worked out well. WHat people can do with lego these days amazes me. When I were a lad we pretty much just had squares, rectangles and wheels to play with.
My opinion, the second image is better. The action crosses the perimeter of the moon instead of following it, so there's contrast between the foreground and background. Plus the ship fills in the empty space.
