• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

A fan made trailer which depicts a different take on a Trek Reboot. This faux trailer shows a more purist approach and most notably, uses Madkoifish's Connie model as the Enterprise, which proves to be a very popular re-imagined take.

That being said, this is simply breathtaking. Watch and be amazed:

Schweet! Nice trailer. Never seen Madkoifish's Connie before, but I've heard about it. Looks a lot closer to the Prime TOS Connie. Although I suppose some people would scream just as loudly about this one if it had been in the film.

i refuse to bash either one both have their goods and their bads. Personally i do like this ship but i actually have to stick with the STXI Connie, if the movie has to take place in an alternate time line think i think that the Connie shouldn't look to similar to the Prime. This would be a nice ship to see in A2 though.

Fav. part was Scotty's voice lol

Personally, I like Madkoifish's version much better than the new movies. I'm torn on the new trek TBH. I think it's a cool sci-fi movie, but not too crazy of the direction they went as a ST movie. To me the new time line looks like a apple ipod universe and I do not care for the new ship design in any way. But that's just me. :D

It's a nice trailer and the ship looks pretty good, however like FallenGraces I prefer the STIX Connie much more as it reminds me of a blend between the TOS Connie and the TMP Connie.

Never like the original design too much to be honest so it's no wonder I wouldn't really like something that resembles it more, but ironically I think this design looks better than the actual TOS Connie lol.

A nifty fan movie!

I must admit even after seeing STXI I still prefer Madkoifish's Conny. I hope this fan movie becomes a reality as you can never have too many fan movies. :)

I kind of agree with Rebelmoon's comment about an apple ipod universe lol, but I'm just happy to see any new trek to be honest.
The new ships have grown on me, and I'm slowly coming to terms with all the timeline changes.
