So.. what are your first impressions.

+ The Tholian Red alert is horribly powerful.

+ The patrol missions are interesting

+ Walkaround on new romulus is sweet with plenty of mini missions, but i am a little disappointment that they never did such a thing for the Klingon homeworld. When i got my diplomatic immunity i wanted to go targ hunting but alas.

+ Haven't decided if i like the new PVE setup. Missions for gear/dilitium, missions for romulan marks, missions for fleetmarks and missions for omega marks. You have to focus on one of these to make swift progress or settle for slow progress on all fronts.

Your thoughts?

So far not too bad. I do like the way New Romulus is set up. I also like how you can get end game gear now without having to play STF. I too like the Sector Block Patrol Daily and I hope they adopt this for all of the sector blocks.

You need to play STF to get omega marks which in turn are needed to gain rank/reputation/tiers. It's set up in a similar fashion as fleet projects.

You can also get Omega Marks from the Defera Adventure Zone. I have already done so and have gotten two Omega Rep projects going. You just don't get as much with the Defera missions as oppose to the STF missions.

Nope

The resources needed for the rep system seems (so far) very manageable. I can run one to three quick dilithium missions to get what is needed. On the first level the dilitium requirements are 300 and 900 dil. I am somewhat intrigued with this system. Seems to be better then the fleet system. They also added the embassy. I have no access to it as I am not in a fleet on tribble. I know they plan on expanding this system later on. In one of the latest communique from DStahl, he has mentioned that S8 will focus more on the KDF. He has said that he hopes that S8 will put the KDF close to (if not completely) on par with the UFP. I hope this is the case.

That will make me come back to the game, I have only logged on recently to see how much the Jem'Hadar ships on the exchange are, still over priced imo. However if we can trust what he says (past experience says no) then KDF development to bring it on par with the Federation will make many people very happy.
