• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

To be fair with that first bridge, it doesn't look like there's a place to turn a truck around by the time you actually see the sign.

Let's see, just the other day I saw somebody get honked at for stopping at a red light while there was heavy cross traffic. The day after that I saw somebody who wouldn't pull over for emergency services because it was apparently vital that they get to a sandwich shop. While going half the speed limit.

True but honestly, if you can see a low bridge one should stop not just keep on driving.

There are way too many idiots on the road that's for sure even here in Australia I have seen some crazy stuff. Makes you wonder what these people are thinking when they do something like this, clearly they aren't thinking at all and shouldn't be on the road.

OMG this brings my road rage out. :) I've seen some of these clips on Youtube. What kills me every day is by my office there is a highway with a long off ramp. One lane off ramp mind you. Well you always get people who don't want to wait so drive down the shoulder to get ahead.

I always pull my truck half way into the shoulder to block them. If I have to wait in line for 20 minutes to get to the end then so can you.

I like how some of the drivers just keep going after shredding their truck under the bridge. Like nobody is going to notice. Here's yer sign.

People are so impatient these days. I do the same with my 4x4, I don't let them in, or at least give them a lot of trouble and they are always worried if I am going to hit them with my bullbar.

I'm on the opinion unless it's an emergency vehicle you can wait in turn like everyone else.

Eeek! Reminds me of our own idjit drivers here in the Philippines. Some drivers here just go with reckless abbadon with no regard for anything else. Jeepney drivers are of particular notoriety - they should just scrap the damn things and send them to the history books. And that's coming from a pure Pinoy.

I drive delivery...I've seen things... o_O

But seriously, yeah. I'm in Amish Country - for those of you who know who they are - and people do a lot of stupid stuff trying to avoid their horses and buggies on the road.

My favorites from that are the first stray horse, the attack-sheep, the pedestrian that kicked the car, and the guy who casually gets out and walks after his car is totaled.

Your second video is just hypnotic.

Roads too twisty to spot them early or something?

In a lot of areas, yeah. But people will also try and go around without looking, and usually almost hit someone coming from the opposite direction.

I think it was bad karma posting on this thread this morning. During my route today, a guy pulled out into the road and almost hit me. Then, a mile later when the lanes were merging, he accelerated to match me, wouldn't let me move over, and pushed me into the other lane of traffic. Then he pulled over, and tried to take a picture of my license plate. I pulled over, just to apologize even though I hadn't done anything wrong (Which was rather foolish of me in retrospect). He then said he'd already called the police because I was "driving like an *expletive* and trying to kill him." Fortunately there were other witnesses there and he sped off after a minute. I waited around for a bit in case any cops were going to show up, but none did. *sigh* A very stressful day for me...
