RIP Carrie Fisher

For those who weren't aware yet, Carrie Fisher passed away today. I feared the worst when I first heard of her cardiac event on that flight the other day.

I don't know if it's because I'm paying more attention or what, but this has been about the suckiest year. We've lost so many great people. I haven't posted the last couple of months due to having been visited a tragedy myself and just lost in the world right now. I hope 2017 is a better year for all.

Really shocked by the news, and I thought 2016 couldn't get any worse. RIP Carrie Fisher, one of the greats.

Anyway, George comes up to me the first day of filming and he takes on look at the dress and says, 'You can't wear a bra under that dress.' So, I say, 'Okay, I'll bite. Why?' And he says, 'Because... there's no underwear in space.' I promise you this is true, and he says it with such conviction too! Like he had been to space and looked around and he didn't see any bras or panties or briefs anywhere. Now, George came to my show when it was in Berkeley. He came backstage and explained why you can't wear your brassiere in other galaxies, and I have a sense you will be going to outer space very soon, so here's why you cannot wear your brassiere, per George. So, what happens is you go to space and you become weightless. So far so good, right? But then your body expands??? But your bra doesn't- so you get strangled by your own bra. Now I think that this would make a fantastic obit- so I tell my younger friends that no matter how I go, I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra.

RIP Carrie Fisher. You were an inspiration to many. You will truly be missed.

To those who may be wondering about how this will affect Ep8. A report I read stated that principle photography has already been completed and Carrie was done with filming. Obviously there will be reshoots but, it is not yet known if Carrie would have been involved in any. They now will have the arduous task of settling the character's fate before Ep9 begins shooting.

Looks like it was at her son Todd's house. I hope he's doing okay, emotionally.
