• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

"Patrick aims for Doctor Who?

Patrick Stewart has revealed he would love to be asked to play a role in hit sci-fi series Doctor Who.

The 67-year-old Star Trek star, who is currently playing Macbeth at London's Gielgud Theatre, said he was a fan of the long-running time travelling show, but was sad he had never been involved.

"I have been (a fan) actually yes, and deeply dismayed that I was never asked to be in it! I think it's a terrific series," he said."

Not meaning to pour water on this but I remember a couple of years ago he told Star Trek Magazine on why he would not appear in Doctor Who saying that he already done enough sci fi with TNG & X-Men.

Anyway whatever the reason for his change of position on Doctor Who, now that he has expressed an interest I hope he does get a role in it.

In the meantime he will be appearing with David Tennant on stage in Hamlet next year.

An interesting notion. But I would hope it would not be the role of the Doctor. I really cant see him being the Doc.

I doubt that, the Doctor seems to get younger after each regeneration. He started off quite old and after each regeneration a younger actor ends up playing the doctor. I don't know if this is intentional or not.

I can see it now, Data sat at the help, they drop out of Warp, pop on the viewscreen, and you see.... The Tardis.

Daleks Vs The Borg, that would be fun to see.......

He keeps getting younger I think because thats the way they preserve their lives...or so my dad says (an old series fan).
