• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. I've been away for too long again, and I apologize. Too many things in real life keep me from visiting as often as I want to.

Perhaps this'll make up for it.

After over two years of searching, I have FINALLY found a version of P81's Galaxy-X model that I can convert to Armada II, completing the lineage of the Galaxy-Class starship. I've been a bit of a fan of the design since I saw her, although many have not, and I had decided to incorporate her as a part of how my original fanfic would've ended.

I'm more than well versed on how to convert the thing to Armada II's specifications, but as you can see, the textures are mapped quite differently than the the regular Galaxy and Venture-Galaxy models.

I was wondering if I could get some assistance in this department, whether it be through me sending over the files, or me doing them bit by bit with feedback.

I would greatly appreciate any help, as I would like this to be a big bang of a return to A2 modding.

I think you meen those wrong shaded dark parts in the model. those could be caused by inverted polys, wrong textured parts or wrongly welded vertexes. which programm do you use to convert your models to A2 Sods and which format are those models before conversion to A2 ??

This model is a Bridge Commander .nif format file, and I use MilkShape3D to convert it over to A2. I've actually come to see that theres a number of differences in the texture files, so I gotta do a lot of remapping

Apologies for the double post, but I have significant progress thanks to Jetfreak!

The Gal-X is fully textured with the Ent-D's registry. I'm gonna work on making a registryless version, which shouldn't be too hard, considering the pieces of textures I have. I'm currently hardpointing her, which is much easier since I've imported a few and am able to move new ones quite easily. I'm gonna get the HP's done today, and see about other bits and bobs, and hopefully it'll be finished within this week!
