• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

lol more likely he will do away with just the turrets and the borg cubes so you stop trying to drag him down into them all the time :lol2:

Lol, So I guess this would be a good place to ask how many msfc members play FO? Obviously Crisis and Maj. Dom does. I do, but only rarely.(I hope to play more during the summer) But who else?

I used to play online, but I haven't the last couple of years. I need to look into this Tunngle thing or whatever it is FleetOps has now...

Yup, it's a VPN program, just with a hook to allow it to start up with FO etc :) . Really quite a nice program, for all sorts of games :cool:

Today I had my first major online game, a 4vs4 team match.

I really enjoyed it and not only did my team win, I managed to fend off a attack on a ally base basically defending it long enough for the enemy to withdraw. It was a great game, despite the victory I would've enjoyed it just as much if my team lost.

Now if only my mic was working during the game, didn't get it working till afterwards.

Yeah it was, a bit of an argument between timmy and I think it was either Mal or Clintsat but other than that it was really fun.

I basically just hanged with Mal, helping him out with attacks and defence. We coordinated it all in pretty well, each time he was prepared to attack, I had either just warped in or had like a dozen monsoons and intrepids on the way up. I also defended his base from attack more than once which he was rather impressed with. I was just happy I was in the game and of some help to my team.

Crisis one on one, I would've had won, but in the big team size that we had individual player skill doesn't calculate in as much as smaller games. I rather like these big games, they are exciting. :thumbsup:

Hehe, Clint and Mal like to get really involved in commanding der navies =D . Yup, the bigger the team game, the more things get evened out - teamwork becomes key, and if joint attacks and careful planning aren't done, all is for naught :D
