I wasn't quite sure where to put this, but anyway...
Emulators are amazing things. You can play old games that are no longer available at a higher resolution than the developers ever dreamed, and now you can use certain plugins to retexture everything in the game. Naturally, I am taking full advantage of this feature and have begun to retexture The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Screenies below.
I'm not very far in yet. The N64 couldn't handle large textures, so the developers split just about everything into five or six tiny textures. I'm still looking for Link's hat texture and hope I'll find it some day.
