• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Next Series?

Anyone got any ideas in mind?

I think that the Star Trek: Titan should be a series.
Star Trek: Excalibur would work well being that there is a book series of it.
Maybe a series of the Hazard Team, based off Star Trek: Voyager's Elite Force 1 and 2 games.

I would like a 25th Century, Hazard Team or a Reman war series.

Hmm, hard choice

I would like one set in the future, with maybe a few of the youngest DS9/TNG etc chars around as retired.

On the other hand, I would also like something set during the Dominion War that showed the various races ground forces in some manner.

Hmmm, how could you make a show about star trek ground forces though? I mean they do have them but from what we've seen they seem to pretty much suck:(

I beg to Differ star trek ground forces are not weak your view is limted to what we seen on the show and the shows are primarl naval focused to them

in truth the best look at ground forces is from the Game New worlds

but geting back to topic

What I like to see is a show colony side that or one Carrier Based set After NEM.

Sorry, you're right. When I said "from what we've seen" I meant in the show though. They are a lot better in New worlds . There isn't any infantry in that though is there:confused:

if you count the Crew exiting the APC yes  other than that nope but if you want a look a infantry look at the Game Away team :)

Well, someone suggested this to me, but I like this idea so I will try to reiterate it as best I can.

What about, set like 100 or 200 years in the past, a show with colonists heading to a new world far away, think BSG only Trek and with a peaceful journey, not one forced by war. The civilians of Trek always seem to have the problems, but here they can be the heroes.

I would just love to see a home security federation ship trying to keep the federation together after overexpanding, letting people in who normally wouldn't be allowed.

Maybe step away from Starfleet and the Federation and base a ST TV show based around one of the millions of alien races ST has available, Could work if written correctly I think, plus it would certainly be somthing new and a way to get around the Prime Directive.

Or

Would like to see continuation of what becomes of the Terran Empire after DS9's influence, possably become a interstellar power again plus I always wanted to see what work the Alliance made of Earth, Did they conquer it or simply smash it to bits leaving it a dead world behind.
