• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Time travel dose not give me a headache. But this is very flawed even by movie standers let alone the paradoxes it even destroys the causality loop that was at the heart of the original Terminator movie

The first Terminator movie relies on the predestination paradox. The T-800, sent back in time to assassinate the mother of Skynet's opponent, is destroyed, but its parts are salvaged, creating a timeline where the creation of a Skynet is possible. Additionally, in order to stop Skynet's assassination plan, Kyle Reese follows the T-800 back in time and winds up fathering the very opponent Skynet was trying to eliminate

Interesting, I'll withhold judgement until I see it. At least they have Arnold Schwarzenegger back! :D

I agree. Looks good, lots of action, typical Terminator fare. But we'll see. Even though it looked really cool onscreen I never liked the idea of the T-1000 Liquid Metal concept. I guess maybe because it's hard to wrap my head around the idea the if there's not computer core or something like that how can liquid metal have circuits and purpose or code and what not?

Kind of like the Silver Blood in Voyager. At least that came off as organic, but still had the same flaws in concept.

Like I said, it looked pretty on screen :)
