• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Took my sister-in-law back to Newcastle on Monday and we got trapped. A massive storm hit us and is still hitting the area. Flash flooding and category 2 cyclone winds have caused a lot of damage.

Many homes are still without power and many aren't expected to have power for at least a week. Oh and the trees. The wind had ripped up so many huge trees and thrown them all over the place. Flooding is also a major concern with some houses totally swept away, the lake has risen pretty high and some huge puddles were available for me to drive my 4wd through.

Took and risk and left this afternoon and got home.

I'm glad to be home.

It was my sister-in-law mate, not my biological sister, who also happens to have the name of Jess. She is marrying Kat's brother next year.

Hello:

Only 2 or 3 have been lost. It's not as bad as what you're country has endured recently, but still fairly bad. It reminds us of the June storms in 2007. Just a little less flooding and more damaging winds. The tress that have been uprooted is amazing. They aren't small ones either, they are huge and have been blown meters upon meters of where they original stood.

Whoa, that sounds really bad. Hope you and the family are safe. :(

Yeah we are all fine as far as I know. I haven't had a chance to contact my Dad yet. I'll probably do that tonight. Thanks. :)

So you have a sister named Jess and a sister-in-law named Jess. On top of that, your sister Jess is technically going to be your sister-in-law next year. You're going to need some kind of flow chart to figure out which Aunt Jess your kids are talking about.

I'll clear that up, Jess who stayed with us is Kat's brothers fiance who is marrying him next year. We already call her our sister-in-law. She has had a son to him already and is pregnant again.

My sister Jess is in England atm, teaching.

Oh, I see. I thought you meant a double in-law situation, where one pair of siblings marries another pair of siblings. The original phrasing was kind of ambiguous. My interpretation was more amusing, though.

Echo the sentiments above. Glad to hear you are safe. Seems all of us here have pretty much had our share of Mother Nature's wrath
