• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

As some of you may know i absolutely love this game.

I think the story is great - Ok in the first one its just really a premise.

I love the feel of the game, the almost grittyness of the levels and just general design.

i bought the Game, it arriuved Friday - the day of release, and i quickly completed it i think it took about 10 and a half hours - which is good considering Halo 3 only lasts about 8.

As for the story, they really grasped that this was a full war, rather than just 4 people against the Locust horde. just by including more characters, starting off in the last Human City, so you see hospitals, and also other things, later in the game your on a drilling rig and a whole appears in between you and the others (there are lots of rigs) and out poor hundred of Locust. The Epic scale of this game i feel is so far unparralelled. (no pun intended i am aware that the game was made by Epic :p)

Well, has anyone else played the game?

Im reluctant to talk about the actual plot, as i dont want to give anything away to the people who havent played it.

however if there is someone out there who has played it, feel free to post your comments and feelings abotu what happened!

I haven't played it yet. But since you rate it so high Jeddy, I think I might check it out. Thanks for the heads up on it.

seriously make the time ^^ lol tho i think we can all understand time constraints.

I had to wait for 5 hours after getting it to actually get to play it, it was killing me!

I honestly think its worth it, i admit i am a bit of a Gears Fan boy. so u might want to research bits first. see if its ur kinda game.

I like halo, but i think Gears is a lot better.

I like the Original GOW, so I think I would like this one.

I'll rent it first, then decide for sure if I'm going to pay $60 for a new game.

All of my friends are trying to get me to buy it, but I've never even played the first one, heck, I just got my 360 last night, so honestly I don't know if I'll be buying GoW (1 or 2) anytime soon, I may rent it though like Syf, and see if the multiplayer is worth the pricetag.
