• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Betazoids are my personal favorite minor race. Followed by Bajorans, Bolians and Antedeans.

What's your favorite? :D

I'd have to say Andorians. They've a high sense of respect and loyalty and are, alike Klingons, quite Honourable in regard to their motives. We've not really seen much of them, saw them a little in TOS, but their main focus was in ENT and there I believe we saw them well enough to know a decent amount about them.

The Tholians are technically a minor race right? Since they've been in like 3 episodes of Trek in its entirety?

If not, hmm, probably Selay or the Anticans, just because they remind me of the Gorn and the Lyrans.

I'd go with Tholians too.

Or those guys that ran the "Move Along Home" game in DS9. The ones that Quark tried to cheat.

aww yeah, I forgot about those guys. I can't remember how they were called. They were from the Gamma Quadrant, I do remember that. Does anyone remember?

They would be mine.

The Wadi or something I believe, in fact it's the next on my DS9 DVD to watch. :)

The Gorn - We've seen so little of them in Star Trek. Their reptillian attributes would make them powerful enemies :D

maybe it was because the masks for the Gorn were so hard to make/wear then? especially since when it came to TNG and DS9 they'd want to keep it realistic and couldn't afford to create an animatronic head gear, maybe? when TOS had them it was a big headpiece.

Tholians as they are so alien compared to most of the races on star trek (all humaniods). Also kinda liked the xindi as they had like six different races all together. my faverite one of the six were the insect xindi COOL!

I'd have-to say the Arexians, Tellarites, and others little-used by trek since Ent/TAS.

For me, the Brikar. Got their quirks, but they my kinda people!! :)

With them, you really CAN be stuck between a rock and a hard place....or was that hardcase.... ;)

Or, on second thoughts, you can add Lyrans for me as well. I really like cats, so it's a no-brainer there!! :D

I like the Lyrans too (not sure on if there just starfleet command universe or in real trek though) but ya they are a definate faverite. Morn was cool and when I got all my DS9 seasons I was forever on the lookout for him lol (I loved the one when he 'died' and when quirk told him he didn't want to here any excuse).

so thats like four faverite minor races heh not to bad.

I liked the Tholians. they were so cool. but i think they should have been in more than... what i think it was one TOS episode, and one Enterprise Episode?

I always thought the Ferengi/DS9 version were always hilarious and interesting to watch.
