This thread is a little bit spoilery.
Eighth and final episode of the second audio season of the Eighth Doctor New Adventures from Big Finish. Like the previous episode Sisters of the Flame this was not broadcast on BBC7 late last year. It was released on CD in August.
Vegeance of Morbius concludes the story that began with Sisters of the Flame.
Although not quite on the same level as Sisters of the Flame this is still a pretty good episode.
Samuel West makes for a pretty good Morbius (original Morbius actor Michael Spice having died in 1983).
The scenario of this episode is similar to the end of season 33 with Morbius playing the Master role and even to the point that time has been reversed erasing the terrible things that has happened.
Having had a lot to do in Sisters of the Flame, it is a shame that Alexander Siddig as Rosto did not get to do as much here.
Although the main Morbius plot is solved within the episode, the episode still ends this season on a cliffhanger with Lucie getting a very shocking visit.
Also enjoyed the interviews that are on the end of the disc including Sheridan Smith being bewildered on what has happened to Lucie at the story's end.
I also enjoyed Sheridan at the Invasion convention in the last chapter of the disc.
