Well, that was BRILLIANT.

The Master was incrediabally well written, and well how everything relates through the series to everything else, the watch, the face of Bo, utopia, Mr Saxon and all that. Also the plan that it turns out the doctor actually has for what Martha has to do with the telepathic field and everything, just the most clever plot I've ever seen.

Any other brits have an oppinion?

Agreed. 110%

Indeed, this was a brilliant script. They really managed to pull this off really, really well. Kudos to them for that.

'The Master' as we know him should be dead. however, someone picked up what looked to be a ring of his, after his corpse had burnt. My guess is that this person was his (now ex) wife. For what purpose she'll have for it is unknown. No doubt we'll find out at some point.

Jack can't die yet. He may very well be the Face of Bo. It would explain how he knew that The Doctor was not the last of the Timelords, along with the fact that he had lived for so long.

As time progresses, things change. He may have found a way to die. In the episode of which Bo died, there was some sort of virus that was going around, was there not? Perhalps he died from this.

Personally, after reading in The Daily Mirror today, when I read that there was going to be a big part played by Jack, I thought he was going to turn out to be a Timelord or something.

SUCKS! :(

Will be interesting to see who the next companion is. Ironic, if I am not mistaken, the Sun stated a while ago that Martha was going to be quitting, or released. Yet, official sources her end said that was all tabloid rubbish, and that Martha would be staying.

I loved the ending too. Some iceberg :lol2:

I don't think Martha is gone really, I think she's gunna have a role where she is a recurring character, rather than a full time assistant.

Perhaps, but the point is, the Sun said she is going (for good), her sources said she is staying for the next season. Quite contradictory.

Unless the master waited untill the doctor was gone then regenerated as a woman and picked up the ring.

Was the identity of that scientist womans son important

From my understanding, he has to be alive in order to regenerate. He can't actually 'die' else there is nothing to start the regeneration.

I do not believe so.

Found out who the new companion is and it is Catherine Tate returning to play Donna for season 34. Donna finally says "I do":

"Donna says "I do!"

Catherine Tate accepts proposal to star in fourth series.

Catherine Tate is set to return to the TARDIS for the complete 13 week run of Series Four of Doctor Who.

Award winning comedian Tate will reprise her role as Donna, the runaway bride from last year's Christmas special, despite turning down the Doctor's invitation to travel with him at the end of that adventure.

When Catherine was asked if she would like to become The Doctor's new companion at the press screening of The Runaway Bride, she replied, "I would love to, but no one has asked!" Well, now they have.

"Catherine was an absolute star in The Runaway Bride and we are delighted that one of Britain's greatest talents has agreed to join us for the fourth series," announced Doctor Who's executive producer and head writer, Russell T Davies. "Viewers can expect more ambitious storylines and a whole host of guest stars in 2008."

Catherine Tate : "I addedam delighted to be returning to Doctor Who. I had a blast last Christmas and look forward to travelling again through time and space with that nice man from Gallifrey."

Freema Agyeman who has played Martha Jones, The Doctor's companion throughout the critically acclaimed third series, will return to the show to join The Doctor and Donna mid series."

Personally, I didn't like her. I will probably be ok, though it'll get better half way through the season, when Martha rejoins. Donna seems to be along the same lines as Rose, being in the 'not so bright' category.

Donna was a typical Tate character, the problem is that kinda opf comic acting might not work very well with doctor who, I personally found the last christmas special to be a bit of a let down.
