From the Doctor Who Reference Guide:
"Featuring the 10th Doctor and Martha, this is a paperback novel published as part of the Quick Reads literacy initiative."
Written by Terrance Dicks I got Made of Steel, in which the story is told in 112 pages, for free when it came with this year's SFX Doctor Who special.
For those who do not know, Terrance Dicks is a long time contributor to Doctor Who. He was script editor of the series between 1968 and 1974. He also written some stories of the classic TV series.
He has also written over 70% of the Doctor Who novelisations as well writing some original Doctor Who novels.
As for Made of Steel I have to say that I really enjoyed it as the Doctor along with Martha faces the Cybermen following on from what happened to them in Doomsday.
This definitely felt like an Terrance Dicks book and it is quite interesting the way the Doctor defeats the Cybermen at the end.
