Nah I haven't seen it yet, and I doubt I will. It's not really my kind of film.

There seems to be a lot of comotion about this film, and thats only here in Australia. Some cimemas have even refused to show it due to this.
I avoid religion, its one of my top 3 rules, so I will be avoiding this film too.

We ssaw it. Didn't see what the commotion wass all about. Fiction is fiction in my bookss but hey, that's just my opinion I guesss.

I just recently bought the DVD and Watched it for the first time and here are my opinions of these topics
The historical inacuracys are there because this movie was ment to be fiction.
In my Mind (Granted I am now a Pagan) Jesus was a man like any other man he had a family and that is what this movie made thoses that want to see him as someone above human desires did not want to see. But I ask you all this question (Just think about it and dont answer it) Why would a Rabbi not marry and have children, when that alone would have made him a targewt for perscution.
Sorry for the spelling errors I am at work and dont have access to iespell, also sorry for hitting on these sensitive topics. and I leave you all with one final thought (I have looked) At the Last Supper and it makes me think, there are no glasses there and the chalace (V) is there and wow if you have seen the movie it really makes you think If the admin staff deam this post mean or otherwise not appropate please delete, I do not mean to preach but I think the Best religion in the world is one that makes you think what if.
The historical inacuracys are there because this movie was ment to be fiction.
Althought this is Fiction it did raise a big Commition, But the same can be said for Mel Gibsons' Passion of the Christ. With that said this movie dose not really focus on the Religious aspect but more on the fice of Common Sence fiction.
The reason is that most people saw something they did not want to think was true in the movie.

I have read your post and see no reason to edit it. I don't consider your thoughts on the subject preaching, since your not trying to convince anyone to "see the light".
