I am curious as to why Ba'al deems it nessecery to attack Earth (not technologically advanced when compared to the Goa'uld) with not one, not two, not three, but a darn fleet of Ha'tak Motherships.

Just not seeing the logic there. Or is it just me?

I would hazard a guess, because of the Ancient Defence platform in the arctic and earths growing fleet 304's, never mind all the Asgard tech they now have
