Arcade Tournaments

I am going to start a few Tournaments. If you have any suggestions on which games you would like to see. Post that in here. I am going to start about 2 or 3 to see how they work.

More people need to join the Tournaments in the arcade section. Looks like you get between 3 and 7 days to actually play your round. I have them all set up for 3 tries per round. So far olny Oldfogey has joined in.

I would however I have too much on, both on the site and in real life recently.

I will certainly join one when things calm down and I think it's a great idea, one that CrazyFrog has come up with an anyone who plays the arcade I believe should at least consider it.

I would atleast expect BQ to join the tetris when she gets her internet back up and going to try to beat Oldfogey in it...LOL.

Maybe we can get Majestic to creat a few awards for the tournaments...Like a medal for winning 10,50, or 100 tournaments...

Well sometime during the long update, the awards are getting an overhaul and requests for new types of awards are always welcome by all.

So yeah new awards can be created, if you have particular suggestions I am open to them.

Alright.....I deleted all the tournaments and set them back up. Smaller groups this time. I also found that I can start a tournament and assign people in them. But I am sure people will join without any problems to make them fun. It is just a nice option to have.

If anyone wants to challenge someone to a 2 person Tournament. Post it in here. If both agree, I will go in and set it up.

All who joined a tournament before will have to go in and rejoin.

Ok, we have spots open in tournaments...... 1 space open in 2 tournaments and 2 spaces open in 1 tournament. If you don't know how to get to them. Go to the arcade and click on the "tournaments" link.

I am talking with the Admins on setting up awards for winning so many tournament total or even in a row. Lets get playing people.....

That is correct. Meanwhile round 1 of the other two is ongoing.

Now the ideas for medals.......4 levels for each.

For participation in tournaments...
tin-10 tournaments, bronze-25 tournaments, silver-50 tournaments, gold-100 tournaments....

For winning tournaments....
Soldier of Tournaments-5 championships, Knight of tournaments-15 championships, Prince/Princess of tournaments-25 championships, Ruler of tournaments-50 championships

For winning streaks.....
Master of games- 5 straight championships, Jedi master of games-10 straight championships, Respected Jedi Master of games-15 straight championships, Legendary Jedi master of games-20 straight championships

Those are the ideas for now.....If anyone has suggestions for change of names or numbers just post them in here. Or of you can think of a different award. I will submit the final idea to the Admins by the begining of the new year.

I am reviving the tournaments.... there is currently 1 tournament waiting for an additional player. I am sending up the request for the medals idea. And may the gaming begin....again...

You will notice two people are on a winning streak. This is b/c I am only counting tournaments you are in for the streak.... So, no worries about missing one.

I removed the 8 ball champion tournament completely b/c the game is not working properly. Noone can score any points on the game.
