Here is the H-wing, an incom design that precedes the X-wing. Produced sometime between 19BBY and 1ABY the H-wing while a modern and successful design was deemed to expensive by the Empire to warrant purchasing.
Like many non-Sienar designs, the H-wing was sold to private firms, security organisations and planetary governments. Many also found their way into the hands of the Rebel Alliance and were used to great effect against Imperial targets.
