This folder contains the Asgard class.
I wanted to create a ship, that looked the way I would have the Intrepid class to look like.
The Asgard Class was designed by Starfleet to take on the role as a long range explorer and in time of need, a powerful battlecruiser.
The design does resemble the Intrepid class as well as the Prometheus class, but is significant larger with an overal length of 522 meters.
The ships of this class are outfitted with the weapons, shields and ablative armour of the latest technology.
Important Note:
Make a backup of your existing files, to be on the safe side!

Installation instructions
Open the SOD folder -->
Put the sod files into the sod folder of Armada II. When prompted to overwrite, click 'yes'.
Open the ODF folder -->
Put the odf file into the odf ship folder of Armada II. When prompted to overwrite, click 'yes'.
Open the Texturefolder -->
put the tga into the texture RGB folder of Armada II. When prompted to overwrite, click 'yes'.
( I include the MS3D files for those who are interested.)
Open the Bitmaps folder -->
Open the Bitmaps folder of Armada II --> open Admiralslog --> open ShipImages and put the images there. When prompted to overwrite, click 'yes'.

open fyard2
add under the list of builditems
buildItemXx = "fasgard" ( The X stands for the next number on the list)

under the list of Federation ships
add:
fasgard.odf 1 fyard2.odf // battlecruiser (asgard class)

add under federation ships:

Open Sprites --> open gui_global
find the lines:
# Federation build buttons
@reference=64
add below that list:
b_fasgard gbfasgard 0 0 64 64
next:
find the lines:
# Federation wireframes
@reference=128 (if not present, just add the reference)
add below that list:
fasgardw1 wffasgard 0 0 128 128
