• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

I feel a bit stupid, but I have a new monitor and now everything in the Armada 2 game looks rather misshapen. I tried to cange the settings, but it doesn't change.
I looked on the internet, but couldn't find a solution.

Can someone help me out?

Have either of you tried the 1.2.5 patch? It's a port of some FO features to stock-A2 by the FO team, but I don't know for sure if widescreen support is included. I know their 1.3 patch for A1 does, though.

If that doesn't work, FO with the Classic Mod will definitely have widescreen.

For NVIDIA graphicscard: right click on desktop > NVIDIA systemsettings > under Display and change Displaysize and Position > scaling, there set scaling method to GPU and choose a scalingmode to your likeness, next uncheck the box under the scaling method you have set to GPU

hope this helps, as my settings are in german and translating them correctly will take to much time for me ;) :lol2:

I think this is the option I would try, that way I can learn modding FO with Blade's help.
