• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Long story short after a long time away from star trek Armada II I wanted to get back into it. That being said, I'm lacking in any usefully skills so I rely mainly on importing bridge commander ships, or kitbashing where I can. Made myself a pretty fancy federation shipyard that has 3 independently workings bays which to this day I'm still pretty happy with. All made out of Thermonuclear Chicken amazing kitbash mod.



But any I digress, as I said I’ve been working on porting over some of the better bridge commander ships over to replace some of the more distressed older mods. And my first port of call was the Armoured voyager.

Now I’ve got the ship ported over fine hard points and all, didn’t bother with any poly reduction and she works lovely. But when I leave the alpha channels in the texture file it has a nasty shade of green to it. But if I remove them its fine, I’d appreciate any help?

The import is rickknox’s BC version if that helps at all.
